This package includes one full day touring some of the "must see" icons of Yellowstone, and a half day of adventure on foot into Yellowstone's wilderness.  Your guide will have you pondering ecological and geological systems.  Opportunities to get your feet wet and your hands dirty gathering info for citizen science NASA databases.

• Day 2: Choose Into the Wilds Half Day Hike (~4 hours) + 2 Hour Rafting Adventure*

Create your own plaster cast wildlife track, participate in citizen science projects for NASA, learn about the micro and macro ecosystems.

See the wonder of the Yellowstone's waterfalls and the beauty of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Hike the rim of the Canyon and search for wild berries. Enjoy the open vistas of Hayden Valley looking for some of Yellowstone's wildlife. Look for bison, bears, wolves, elk, waterfowl, herons, eagles, and more, with your guide. Picnic along the banks of a river.

LAMAR VALLEY WILDLIFE SAFARI

 Ideal for Early Risers!

Patient wildlife searchers will be rewarded in the Lamar Valley ... Spend the day 'glassing' (using spotting scopes and binoculars) and searching for Yellowstone's wolves and bears, amongst herds of bison, elk, and pronghorn. Create plaster cast tracks of the predators, whose paths you cross. Picnic along one of Yellowstone's rivers, or take a short hike and picnic by a high alpine lake, as you search for otters. PLUS, explore the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, and visit one of the Park's greatest geologic spectacles!
