Camp BSA&T: Yellowstone Corps of Discovery
All weeks emphasize curated and hands-on learning, wilderness and wildlife safety skills, and creative time.

The Details: 3 Days of Exploring & Learning

Explore Yellowstone ... and beyond! Get your feet wet and your hands dirty, while you explore and learn about the science and natural history of Yellowstone. Learn wilderness and wildlife safety skills, and take time to play!

• Day 1, 9a - 5p:  Hands-on learning about the theme of the week; wilderness, wildlife, and bear safety education; riverside exploration
• Day 2, 9a - 2p: Wilderness exploration, backcountry picnic
• Day 3, 8a - 5p: Explore the heart of Yellowstone Country - choose floating the Madison River, exploring the hot springs and geysers, or discovering the wildlife and waterfalls of the World's First National Park

This camp week is private and customized, for you and your family and friends. You choose the available dates. 1 - 8 people, minimum age of 8, unless accompanied by parent or guardian.

Do you have a group of kids, who are looking for a fun week, exploring Yellowstone Country together? Get your group together and send them to Camp BSAT! Our Naturalist Counselors are certified Wilderness First Aid, education backgrounds in Yellowstone disciplines, tons of experience working with kids (most of us are also ski instructors in the winter), and all-around fun people! Minimum age of 8 for all-kids-group, younger kids may participate if her/his parent or adult guardian is present for all days.

 

Core Curriculum: Learn Lifelong Skills, Make Lifelong Memories!   

Curated, Hands-On Learning

Spend one morning at a local museum, learning about the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and its dynamic history, with your BSA&T Naturalist Counselor. Then, get out into the field and see how history shaped the present.

Wilderness & Wildlife Safety Skills

Learn wilderness and wildlife safety skills.
​Learn how to start a fire and stay safe in bear country. Learn about native plants and animals, forage for berries and other edible plants.

Plein Air Journaling & Creative Time

Take time to reflect, express, and remember your experiences.  Opportunities include writing, drawing and coloring, and collecting data for future school projects.
