DAY 1: Welcome to Yellowstone Country!Meet your new hiking companions in Bozeman, Montana. We will depart from Bozeman in the late morning and head directly to the Park, through the North Entrance in Gardiner, MT.
Yellowstone is located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. All of the hikes for the week range from 5,000 - 10,000 feet (or more) in elevation. Today, we will take an easy hike through some of Yellowstone's dramatic rock formations in order to acclimate to the altitude and semi-arid desert. |
LENGTH: ~8 miles
ELEVATION GAIN/LOSS: ~2,250 ft/ - 2,201 ft HIGHEST POINT: ~7,960 feet POINT-TO-POINT |
DAY 2: Northeast CornerObservant hikers will be rewarded with finding ancient redwood and petrified tree fossils. You may also see wolf and bear tracks, as well as pronghorn, bighorn sheep, and bison grazing in the high meadows. Spectacular views of the Absaroka, Gallatin, Red Mountain Ranges, and the Yellowstone Plateau surround you.

DAY 3: The Heart of YellowstoneFrom here, you can see the Four Corners of Yellowstone! We will also explore Park's tallest waterfalls and most spectacular geologic formations: The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. You will have the opportunity to search for bears amongst bison grazing in the Hayden Valley.
Tonight you will check-in to your lodging on the East side of Yellowstone. We will spend two nights here. |
DAY 5: Grand Teton National Park + Old Faithful Scenic TourGive yourself a much deserved break today and soak in the grandeur of the Grand Tetons from the comfort of the luxury Sprinter Van. Search for wildlife along the Snake River and enjoy short walks in Grand Teton National Park and amongst Yellowstone's hot springs and geysers.
Tonight you will check-in to your lodging on the West side of Yellowstone. This bustling town offers lots of dining and shopping opportunities. |

DAY 6: Northwest CornerYou will be rewarded with spectacular views of Yellowstone's vast wilderness on this challenging hike.
Tonight you will check-in to your lodging in Bozeman, Montana. We will share our stories and memories of the week over dinner at a local favorite: Montana Ale Works. |
LODGING + ACTIVITIES6 NIGHTS + 6 DAYS OF GUIDED ADVENTURES
We will be moving to a new region each night. Lodging will be in simple but nice hotel or cabin accommodations. All rooms and cabins have private bathrooms. You will have access to dining options at all of the places we stay. |
MEALSBREAKFAST: Yogurt, fruit, nuts, granola, and hot beverages will be available each morning.
LUNCH: You will have the opportunity to pack your adventure-ready lunch and snacks for each day. DINNER: Your itinerary includes 3 group dinners and 3 dinners on-your-own. |
WHAT TO BRINGIt can snow any day of the year in Yellowstone! Be prepared for chilly mornings and warm afternoons. Every hiker should have a day pack and carry layers and rain gear, at least two liters of water, fresh socks, sunscreen, and way to capture memories. A complete packing list will be provided with your confirmation.
