Enjoy a morning or afternoon in Yellowstone’s pristine wild areas. Learn about winter ecology, history and geography of the park, plus wildlife adaptations for surviving Yellowstone’s snowy winters. This is not near geyser basins.

Bar N Half Day Winter Into the Wilds

Learn to cross country ski with a PSIA instructor and then spend the afternoon schussing into the wilds of Yellowstone Park. Enjoy the pristine forests and meadows while also discussing winter ecology, geology, and history. This tour is not near thermal areas.

Bar N Learn to XC Ski

Spend your morning xc skiing or snowshoeing, while searching for bison, elk, moose, and more. Warm yourself with a winter picnic along the Madison River, then head to the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center to see and learn about Yellowstone's iconic predators.

Bar N Wild Wonderland

Learn to cross country ski with a PSIA instructor and then spend the afternoon schussing into meadows and forests around the ranch. You will gain skills to comfortably xc ski up and down gentle terrain.

Bar N Learn to XC On Property

Spend a morning or afternoon viewing elk, deer, pronghorn, bighorn sheep on winter habitats. Great opportunities for photography. Enjoy lively discussions on wildlife migrations and habitats, geology and geography of the Yellowstone ecosystem along the Madison river, and more. This is primarily a driving tour.
